For Mouse antibody on Rat Tissue

RAT-on-MOUSE Polymer System:

Detecting RAT primary antibody on MOUSE  tissue is a very difficult task in research due to cross

reactivity.  Polink-1 HRP (or AP) RAT-NM (Non-Mouse) kits and Polink-2 HRP (or AP) RAT-NM kits are

specially designed to solve this problem.   This technology provides excellent specificity to detect rat

primary antibody (user supplied) on mouse tissue.   It is a biotin-free system, so therefore overcomes

the non-specific staining caused by streptavidin/biotin system due to endogenous biotin.   The secondary

antibody was adsorbed to mouse, rabbit and human serum proteins.   It also can be used on human and

rabbit tissue.  Specimen can be frozen or paraffin – embedded tissues, and freshly prepared monolayer

cell smears.

One may choose Polink-1 HRP (or AP ) RAT-NM Detection kit for quicker turn around time.  Polink-1 system

is the ONE step polymer detection system that uses polymeric HRP-linked anti rat secondary antibody to

directly detect rat primary antibody bound to the tissue.  For ultra sensitivity,  one may choose Polink-2 Plus

HRP (or AP) Rat-NM kit.   Choose appropriate polymer-HRP with DAB or AEC stain according to the table. 

Chromogen is not provided in Polink-2 AP Plus Rat kit.  Refer to GBI catalog page 28-29 to choose preferred

chromogen.

MOUSE-on-RAT Polymer System
