Trypsin  and Pepsin                         

Trypsin Solution may be used for enzyme digestion of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues, and will

improve the signal of certain antigens. The kit contains 15 mL of Trypsin concentrate and 80 mL of Diluent.

It requires simple dilution prior apply on the tissue section.

Pepsin Solution is used for the enzyme digestion of paraffin-embedded, formalin-fixed tissues prior to staining

of certain antigens by immunohistochemical methods. The pepsin solution is provided in one single stabilized

ready-to-use solution.

Blocking Solution                             

PreBlock contains 10% normal goat serum.  It is supplied in ready-to-use format.   It is used to block

non-specific binding prior to primary antibody incubation. 

Protein Block is serum free universal blocking reagent.  It is used for reducing non-specific background

in immunolabeling procedures.  It eliminates the handling of animal serum in the laboratories.

Avidin/ Biotin Block is used to block endogenous biotin or biotin-binding activity in tissue sections.

Other Retrieval Buffer

Citrate buffer and EDTA solution is used in Heat Induced Epitope Retrieval (HIER) method to recover the loss

of antigenicity that sometimes occurs during fixation process.  Choose a proper buffer according to the

recommendations from the primary antibody suppliers.   Immerse slide in the proper buffer heated by hot

plate (>95°C), or pressure cooker.  All buffer are supplied in concentrate format and require simple dilution.
